The first post

Hi, I'm starting this blog because I really need a place where I can put my fears and frustration into words.
I'm a mum of 11 year old girl and 1 year old girl with multiple alergies.
I live with my ever so patient other half and we try to make sense of being parents of two so different individuals.
As I would love to have control over everything in my life, it's taking a toll on me and I need a place where I can freely write.

Pop out to the shop.

How sad and exhausting is it,  that the only time for yourself-yourself is when you can run, or rather well as slowly as possible, an errand to a local shop. The evening is dark and quiet and demands nothing from you. You buy yourself a almost favourite snack, because you are breastfeeding your little allergy girl and are on a diet and can't have the favourite one, and on the way home a passing thought,  can I stay outside,  run away for a day,  rest, recharge,  in a spa, with room service and no diet. Then, you come back to the hustle and bustle of your living room. You come back to moody, almost-teenager,  toddling little one with a snotty nose, playing with her dad - the sometimes annoying - love of your life. It all makes you feel happy, and then a little sad,  and then very much exhausted. You are a mother and you love it,  but somewhere along the way, you can't help but notice, you gave up a little bit of you.
